  • Jacob K. Javits Fellowship, sponsored by the United States Department of Education.  Supports four years
    of graduate study with a stipend and an institutional allowance paid to any university in lieu of tuition.  Total
    award value:  approximately $120,000 over four years.

  • University Fellowship, from The Ohio State University.  Total award value:  $14,400 stipend and remission
    of all tuition and fees for the 2004-2005 academic year.
