Please join me as I talk with Peter Bay, the Music Director of the Austin Symphony Orchestra as well as the conductor of the Arizona Philharmonic, about what inspires him in his work as a conductor. He has diverse musical interests and champions underperformed music. Among other things, we talk about how he programs orchestral music and balances performing the classics that audiences love with allowing lesser-heard voices to speak.
